Jackie, felted welsh wool, quirky bird sculpture

Jackie is a marbled green/yellow bird with blue feather and a slightly startled look,
maybe it's the long blue beak on which he/she/they rests.
All my birds evolve in the making, I always do the eyes last so they aren't looking at me while I stab them into life! Little do they know that after this it is a warm soapy bath, and then a spin in the washing machine!
Jackie measures 21cm from feet to feathers.

Each of my quirky birds is unique and lovingly made with wool from the Cambrian mountains of Wales.
They are not toys but are designed to keep you company and to make you smile.
