Vera and Dickie, felted wool bird sculptures

Not quite pigeons, I made Vera and Dickie as a pair but you can acquire them separately.
I am always trying to make smaller birds and so these are the result of my latest attempt.
Vera is approx 15cm long and her plumage is felted using dyed wool from the Cambrian mountains....she has a mottled grey, green, pink and purple head with patterns of the same colours adorning her body. Vera is constantly wondering 'why?'.
Dickie is a teeny bit longer with plumage of a dark jade mixed with teal, dark purple and grey.
All of my quirky birds and made with British wool fibres and felt making techniques.
Each one is handmade and unique, designed to make you smile.

Vera and Dickie will perch happily on a shelf.
These are not toys and must be kept away with small children and pets.
